One of my favorite bands, ColdPlay, is being sued by Joe Satriani. The reason is because ColdPlay's song "Viva La Vida", which happens to be my favorite song, shows many similarities to Joe Satriani's song "If i could fly"
I personally was shocked to find out about this, but i can't say I support ColdPlay in this situation, Do you? This is how i found out about all this, and it even has a combined version of the two songs on this dudes channel, which I actually really like. Viva la Vida vs If I Could Fly NO! yeah, but now that there getting sued, there pretty much done for. Every cent they made on Viva la vida will most likely go to Joe Satiani.

I find it stupid that he would sue them for them copying a small beat from his song. You hear so many songs that have very similar beats, and you dont see them suing eachother.
